Mission Statement

We will facilitate programs that educate, inspire, and empower individuals and communities to beautify and maintain Maui Nui’s environment which supports our economy, quality of life and unique Hawaiian culture.

Vision Statement

The land and waters of Maui Nui are free of litter and hazardous materials that may compromise their quality and function. Native ecosystems are intact and unmatched in their beauty and biological diversity, which lends itself to a healthy economy and a place where ancient Hawaiian traditions and practices can be honored and perpetuated.

The people of Maui Nui share a deep sense of place that is rooted in aloha ‘āina, love for the land. Stewardship of our diverse landscapes and ecosystems is conducted in the spirit of laulima, many hands working together, because the kuleana of preserving the environment is incumbent upon all who live, work, and visit here.

The commitment to mālama our island home is wholly embraced through active conservation and the will to ensure that the next seven generations will be afforded the opportunity to sustain life in a safe, beautiful, and ecologically rich environment.
